The car has very high rpms. seems to race when started and pulls me. I have to use the brakes to keep at the street speed.

this trans is the 4T65E. It needs a 4th clutch hub. The splines strip off around 120k or more because they weren't hardened from the factory. The new ones have the hardened splines. The trans needs to come out and be partially torn down. I've fixed alot of these. Change the EPC solenoid while you are there. They wear and hang up causing intermittent harsh shifts
You can drive them forever without changing the hub but you'll never have 4th gear

Hi
Replace motor blower resistor about $20. This part is located by blower motor under glove box- very hard to replace due to little access. Good Luck.

You have a bad sensor at one of the tires that need replacing that operates ABS and traction control. If you take it in to a shop it will run $130 but they can find which sensor is causing the problem. But if you do it you might have to replace all 4 sensors to make sure you got the right one. Every hard to diagnoses. Its better for the shop cause they can get electrical read outs for each sensor.

This is a short with a sensor called the heat sync this occurs when the weather stripping on the outside of the passenger side of the windshield gets warped and lets water in. That water builds up and blows this sensor and the blower resistor resulting in the blower relay to stay in the on position. Replacement of the resistor is needed. Replacingthe blower motor is recommended but may not be necessary depending on the condition.
