Unfortunately, there is no way to get rid of the anti-theft deterrent in the 2004 RX8. The only way to disable it is by using the vehicle's key fob to deactivate the deterrent. If you are having trouble with it, you should consult the vehicle's manual or contact a Mazda dealer for more assistance.
Hold Clock to get it in the set 12/24, tap Set to move to 12hr, tap clock to move to the hour, tap set to get to the right hour, tap clock to move to the minute, tap set to get it to the right minute, tap clock to back out of it.
there are no timing on the rotors for a wankel engine. The timing is controlled by a computer for the RX-8. The sensors & distributors can be adjusted on the RX7's & other Mazdas but I know that there were major engine changes to the RX-8 so I can't tell you for sure. I use to have an RX-7 and worked on it all the time.
you have a big issue the cyclinder is firing due to a timing issue. You will need to check if the timing belt, the ignition system is aligned to accurate settings. use a strobe to check for timing result according to the manufacturers setting.Or else you will need to check for defects in valve/cam settings.
