My battery light stays on when im driving .ive put new altornater and battery in car but light is still on .
It could be the wire from the alternator to the ECM. Or the ECM has shorted.
Yes a liquid gets in the bottom wiring harness, and needs to be blown out with an air compressor but it keep returning, Now just need to know where the liquid is coming from.
Look at the liquid. Is it reddish color? power steerng fluid. Bad hose. Taste it.. It won't kill you. Oil/fluid is a bland taste. Coolant is sweet.

Sounds like you have a bad starter. To check this you can try taking a hammer to the starter and tap it while someone in the car turns the key. If it starts you know you have a bad starter and need to replace it. Hope this helps you out

I had the same problem recently. Was quoted $400 - 500 for a fix, but when they got in there it was just a wiring issue. Still cost $220, but that was labor only, took about 3 hours to fix.

hmmm, sounds like an ignition switch problem. Not the tumbler/key switch, the ignition switch.

could have a loose wire did you check your alternators output voltage? if it's 13 to 14 drive it, as these have internally mounted voltage regulators

Body Control Module (BCM) on both counts. Find a shop in your town that specializes in electrical systems to test it. Beware, these can be intermittent problems, so make sure they keep it until the car does what you have observed. Expect to spend about $450 for the replacment. Dealers quoted me between $700 and $1,100 for the same repair. By the way, a new BCM will probably only last you about 12 months.

We found an oily liquid in our ECM connection, the harness that connect to the bottom of the ECM was saturated, we blew it dry and everthing worked for a day, but the liquid returned and having same problems, question is where is the liquid coming from, its not leaking any fluid and hasnt rained, Mind blowing, but if you can get the liquid dried out of this ECM harness everything will work fine
