Help, my 91 dodge dynasty wont start. the problem began last week when i smelt gas while driving. when I popped the hood, gas was spraying out at the point where the fuel rail goes to the return line. Just a bad o ring? i wiggled the return line and greatly reduced the leak, and went on with driving another week. just today, I tried to start my car and it acted like i had ran out of gas, so i threw a gallon in there and it still wont start. any advice would be greatly appreciated

if all the injestors on the rail came out i would replace the all

You may have to replace the fuel filter, the fuel pressure regulator or the fuel pump.
First I would check the fuel pressure and also check for leaks. If there are no leaks and the pressure is fine than your fuel injectors are probably clogged or you may have an ignition problem or even a compression problem.
If you don't have good pressure and there are no leaks I would first replace the fuel filter or the fuel pressure regulator. If problem still exists I would then check and replace the fuel pump.
If you need any help in any one of these procedures just post it and I will give you step by step instructions.

Check the fuel pump fuse and relay under the hood in the fuse panel. If both fuse and relay are good then fuel pump may be at fault, but it seems too new for a fuel pump replacement. Hope this helps. Keep me posted please. Good luck

When you turn the key, does the starter turn? If you just hear a humming sound, then the arburture (the little gear in the starter) is turning but not ingagging into the flywheel (the big gear that turns your motor). Also, if it starts to turn the motor but then stops, it could be the starter as well, maybe the solenoid that attaches to the starter is starting to go. Hope this helps.

Glad to hear it's not starting...Or, you'd keep driving it till it caught fire....Repair the leak and then have someone check the system for proper pressure
