Hi Hodgson, If you want, you can go on alldatadiy.com and buy you vehicle info for under 20 bucks for a year. That will give you all the wire diagrams you need. You will be looking for the vehicle speed sensor signal wire . ( VSS). I would look at the pin out connector of the computer and it will be there. Most of these have 3 wires, one power 5V, and one ground and the other is the signal. Goodluck and let me know if this helps. If you need more info I will be happy to answer any questions you have.Thanks....Dan

SOURCE: wiring diagram for vss

Try American Taximeters & Communications Inc. 21-46 44th St. L.I.C. NY 11101. We just bought a 7800-0572 converter from them, it plugs into the OBDII plug under the dash, it was for a 2006 Ford 500. Good Luck. $150 plus shipping.

2009 Yaris VSS with manual transmission. Speedo and odo don't work and MIL has code Po500. No ABS light. Where is the location of the VSS sensor?

The Vehicle speed sensor comes from the combination meter , and that comes from the ABS ECU first . Could be a shorted wire , to ground , usually has something to do with the radio installation but faulty meter is a possibility .

I need to install a centrodyne pulse divider in my 2007 dodge caravan to go with my centrodyne silent 610 taxi meter.

Call Lee at Centrodyne he will help you.
The pulse is most easily found on the transmission at the VSS output. It is a connector with two wires, you want the DG/V. Run that to the pulse divider green wire. From the meter, tie the white in the 2 stand cable to the pulse output. Hook up power and ground then calibrate the meter. You should end up in the 33,000 range for calibration.

I need to hook up a centrodyne taxi meter to 2000 dodge caravan. I need to know how to hook it up. thanks

It's very easy on the pcm you will find a blue/orange wire. That's you hook up wire(vss). There are two set of wires off the meter bracket one comes with three wires and the other one with two. The one with 3 one goes to battery(red) ground(black) and top light(green or white). The other set of wires only the white one is connected to the vss.(vehicle speed sensor)
