Fog Lights Not Working

SECTION 417-01: Exterior Lighting 2000 Taurus/Sable Workshop Manual REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Procedure revision date: 08/27/1999 Fog Lamp Removal and Installation

1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section 100-02.

1. Remove the aeroshield-to-sub frame screws.

1. Remove the seven screws and remove the aeroshield.

1. Disconnect the fog lamp assembly electrical connector.

1. Remove the fog lamp assembly.
   1. Remove the screws.
   1. Remove the lamp assembly.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

YOU HAVE TO REMOVE FRONT SPLASH SHIELD TO REPLACE FOG LIGHTS.THEN YOU REMOVE THE TWO BOLTS RETAINING THE FOG LAMP TO THE BACK OF THE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT BEAM AND LOWER THE FOG LAMP.

Look under the dash near where the headlamp switch mounts and if yours is equipped you should see I think it is a blue 4 pin connector with the following wire colors OG,OG/WH,OG/GN,BK.
This is for the fog lamp relay.If yours has this connector then you will need to purchase a relay ford part number F6RZ-14N089-AA should list for about $10.

Easy - slide under front of car, twist bulb out, twist new one in. Make sure you don't touch the new bulb glass.

you need to take off the buttom shields and then you should be able to get to the fog lights

replace the light switch

have you checked to make sure it's not just the bulb ? if it is there are likely two screws holding the lens on .... or you have to lay on your back and reach behind the light and see if you can remove the bulb that way....
