The horn beeped when we put the battery cables on the lights didn't come on
Have you cleaned both battery terminals with a solution of baking soda and water followed by a battery terminal brush to get a good connection on the battery? Also check for a burned fuse link on the red wire on the alternator and another one on the positive battery cable with a test light to see if that's the problem.

That Clicking is the Battery causing it not to Start. You need to Replace that Battery or at Least put a Charger on it for a Couple of hours to see if you can Salvage it for a While.
SOURCE: Car wont turn over
Sounds like you have a bad starter. To check this you can try taking a hammer to the starter and tap it while someone in the car turns the key. If it starts you know you have a bad starter and need to replace it. Hope this helps you out

i had a similar problem with my 2000ls i turned the key on left it in the on position for 15 mins then repeated it after the second time i turned the key on and off quickly 3times on the 3rd time i held it in the start position and it cranked over. note let your car run for a while to recharge your battery doing this really does drain it

your alarm system has been tripped when the battery went dead, to get the information on how to reset the alarm is to call the car manufacture to get the procedure, and should not cost you anything.
SOURCE: dash dead ,turn key
It there is a problem with the dash, there is probably no power to the anti theft module in your ignition. The car is in anti theft mode due to not being able to read your key transponder. Basically if it cant read the key, it thinks its being stolen. Either fix the dash lights, or fully bypass the security. All the security info you need is on here including how to bypass it.
