Interior lighting stays on all the time on a 2001 Chevy Blazer

I have just purchased a 2001 chevy blazer. The dome lights are staying on all the time with the dome light switch in the auto position. I have discovered that there is no wire going to the passenger front door switch. Should there be, or is this a factory design for the vehicle?

On your interior light switch (dimmer switch) just get in the vehicle close doors and turn the dimmer switch and that should do it

2002 chevy blazer interior lites stay on when door is closed

door jam switch is faulty or dome light switch was left in on position. If you adjust the bright/dim switch, (the one that dims your radio lights),all the way down it should shut them off regardless.

My brake and ABS lights on the instrument panel stay on. My bakes have plenty of pad left on them. Could the fuses be out? Also, where can I get a fuse schematic for the 2001 Chevy Blazer 2 wheel drive,...

Need to have a scanner put on vehicle,to determine the issue. Most likely, a bad Wheel Speed Sensor.
Purchase an owners manual,so you can look up fuses and bulbs. HELM.COM

Dome lights won't turn off

Been having a problem with the dome lights on a 99 chevy blazer. Still can't figure out what the problem is. There is a dome light overide button located under the dimmer wheel. When I push the overide button in the dome light goes off, but when I open any of the doors the dome light will not come on. When the overide button is out the dome light stays on all the time and will not turn off even though every door is closed. I checked all the pushbuttons and everything tests good. Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?
