2004 infieniti no spark has a cam senor code present

Suggest before you start to replace parts See what is missing , fuel or spark . Evap leak has nothing to do with it . Videos on youtube testing spark and fuel pressure . special tools needed . You probably would be better off just taking it to a qualified repair shop that has all the tools . Probably know in less then an hour what's wrong .

coil ?
crank angle senor
cam angle sensor

engine light on ..... ecu has fault codes to read
diagnostics fault code

Is timing belt ok? Is it getting fuel? Is it getting spark? Need to know more info on spark and fuel to help

Injector pulse? spark? if not Scan engine computer for any DTC's. If no communication then a shorted sensor if likely. If TDC comes up for cam or crank sensor fault they are also the likely cause.

no spark from coil directly?
is the cam turning, is the dizzy rotor spinning. ????

check all fuses first. Ig-coil, FI and dome.
then using diagnostic jumper wire or fuse, (as approp)
crank engine look for code 41 o 42.!!!

our cars are all EFI that year.
no engine swaps to Suzuki G16A/B sidekick or tracker engines.!
1: engine cranks
2: no spark
3: The ECu makes spark
the CMP sensor in the DIzzy , (never fails if rotor turns, does rotor turn, if not cam belt igored and now snapped.)
the cam turns. the CMP fires. the ECU takes this CMP signal
and fires the ignitor next to coil and the coil charges, and release and BAM spark.

that is it.
the ECU will tell you when the CMP dies or the Ignitor fails
why not ask it.
1: key on
2: diagnostic jumper in place (flashes 12s for ok)
3: crank engine,for 5sec, not 1 ,not 2.
3: release key not off.
4: see code 41, or 42, BINGO !@!!!!

could be a fuse, not likely. get someone to check the DFI block. Is the imobiliser faulty?

Please check the crankshaft position and cam position senors, these will stop the coil from producing spark, Also check your fuse box for an ECM fuse that may be blown.
Also note that Auto Zone has tools to check your vehicle to see if your fuel supply is getting to your vehicle, if you have no fuel as well as no spark then you have crankshaft position and or cam position senor issues,

check timing again a plug still off or a vacum line maybe cracked or the engine might be damaged if it jumped at high rev

You say you changed the cam sensor. A1391 code is a crank sensor on the top of the trans. bell housing.
