You probably put in a week or wrong battery.

There should be no reason your car should not start because you changed out a key fob battery. I have a few suggestions to get your 2007 Lexus ES 350 Key Fob working.

1) Make sure you installed the battery correct side up. Just try flipping the battery to see if that works.

2) I know this sounds absurd, but it works sometimes and is worth trying. If you exhausted all of the options above, disconnect both terminals on your car battery for 10 minutes. Then reconnect them and try your key fob. This has worked for many people and I have no idea why. If you do, please comment below to explain.

If your back seats a permanetly attached and will not lean forward, idk what to say. I interpret your Q, to mean the Starter turns, but the Bendix drive does not engage, to crank the engine?

If so, check that the starter Solenoid Energizing connection, on the Starter Motor has not detached , or broken, or has become chafed on the body/engine, and is grounding out.

A simple test....Get a length of 14 gauge wire. Make a direct contact between the Starter Motor, Supply Terminal, and the Solenoid Energizer terminal.
If this Action does not rotate the engine, then you can be 99% sure the Starter Unit is junk.
If I am barking up the wrong tree, post me back.

Regards, DT

Porsche key fob

If the key had gone faulty, the key code must be re programmed on the vehicle computer. This can be done only using a PIWIS tool, available at the dealer or at a qualified Porche garage.
Try also the following reset:
turn ignition on,
turn off.
remove the transponder from the column
push any button on the fob within 6 seconds.
This procedure will reset the key synchronizing again with the vehicle computer.

My immobilizer does not recognise my key fob

Put key in ignition.
Press unlock button on key fob.
Immobilizer should now recognize it, if it was original fob but car or fob battery was changed or is now low.

Saabs are particular about batteries that are otherwise good, but just below 12 volts.

Replaced key fob housing amber flashing light on dashboard engine starts for a second

Your immobilization unit don't see the key. In the old key fob contains a chip that was set at a frequency that's compatible with the unit hidden in the vehicle telling it you r the owner and allow you to keep it running.

The fob because its lights come on and a locksmith checked that and it`s definitely working. I checked the WEB and youtube for reprogramming but all the tutorials were for 05-12 models. I also did the manual instructions but nothing happened. The dealership told me they charge me 220 dollars for that. I only have one fob, it is the only i got from the previous owner. Key fob / immobilizer not unlocking door

sounds like the security part of the system went bad
take the key fob to the dealer and have it reflashed
if that fails replace the security computer or you can disconnect it from the car you won't have the system but the hazards won't come on unless you turn them on

Lexus es350 will not start and it gives key not detected message

Take your fob and hold it directly against the dash beside the start button for about ten seconds. Watch to see if the green light comes on. Then try the button. If it fails try your spare key same way. You likely have a low battery in the fob.
