BOTH LOW BEAMS QUIT WORKING BUT HIGH BEAMS STILL WORK.

More than likely there is a bad ground. The same ground wire that is used for the headlights is spliced into and used for the parking lights, brake lights and directional lights. The circuits for the brake lights, the brake light switch, the directions and directional switch are related. The circuits for the parking lights, headlights, headlight switch and high/low beam switch are related as well, but the only thing all these circuits have in common is their ground source. You have a electrical line that is bare and its hitting some metal and grounding out , which causes the fuse to blow when you hit a bump

check low beam fuse when switched on if it has voltage registering across the fuse ,if there is voltage across the low beam RHS fuse then it is possibly a pinched wire from the headlight running back towards inside of the car

This is usually caused by a failed front control module as this unit controls the lighting on the vehicle!

The high and low beam lights use the same power source, so if the low beams work the high beams have power.
There is a low and high beam relay controlled by the dimmer switch.
If the low beams work and the high beams don't, and the bulbs are good, check the dimmer switch and the high beam relay.

The headlight relay has probably failed. This relay is in the underhood fuse box. There are typically two of the same relays in there, so you can swap the low-beam relay for the high-beam relay to verify the problem before you shell out $30 for new relay.

you mite have to replace the headlight switch and dimmer switch,possiably going out

try new bulbs first.

Did you check the fuse for the low beams? The high and low are on seperate circuits..
