I have a 99 Chevy suburban 1500 V8 5.7L Vin R and my problem its that when i turn my ignition witch on my compressor clutch engage even when everything in the AC control module its off. i check the clutch relay and its OK (the clutch disengage when i disconnected) i remove the ac control module (still doing the same thing) so i u can help me with that thank u

Sounds like you end up at the dealership after-all.They will need to change the vin number to match your truck or the security violation code will not go away.

If it has a distributor (most chevy v8's did in 99) it is located within the ignition module, the pickup coil is there as well as a reluctor or (star) wheel that signals spark and injector pulse
most of the time this wont be the case ,,,this has a ht6 compressor,bad to leak,,look for low freon levle and check low presure switch and high presure switch and connector,high side switch is on back of compressor,check to see if bad connector or bad switch/these are in series with one another ,before clutch activation
i disconnecte the heather control switch and keeps doing the same thing
