SOURCE: where is the fuel filter on a 1992 nissan pickup

This is a pretty easy one to get to. It is loacted Under hood, passenger side, front side of shock tower, mounted in fuel line. Here is a picture of what you are looking for: c95c77f.jpg
Make sure that you undo the gas cap before you try to replace this. You will basically take the clamps off the fuel lines (top and bottom) and then pull the fuel lines off. They actually make tools to help make this easier but I normally just use a pair of pliers to GENTLY loosen the fuel lines so you can pull it off with your hands. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for using FixYa!

SOURCE: how to remove an automatic

the motor and trans must be lowered thru the bottom of the car. repair manual goes into detail . it took me 10 hours to complete with new motor install. remove all wireing harness assemblies and lable.remove cover plate on bottom of bellhouseing ,this gives access to 4 bolts connecting the torque converter . turn crankshaft pully to rotate and access all 4 bolts.remove bellhouseing bolts and pull motor from trans. almost everything under the hood has to be taken apart and disambled.get the book! radiator, exhaust, motor mounts, altranator.powersterring ,wireing harness,cv half shafts. lower the motor with a cycle lift and jack the car up, block and pull the motor and trans out to disassemble. bag and lable all bolts tag and lable all parts and wire connections. most shops charge 600. bucks to do this and its well worth the money. this is a big job

SOURCE: I need to know what kind of transmission fluid to

Check you owner's manual. Igf you no longer have it then call a nissan dealer. Last resort is to go to an auto parts store and they should be able to help you. You just need to be careful . If they do noyt look it up then I would go somewhere else and ask the question again. If you get the same answer at two or more places then you should be good to go.

SOURCE: 1996 nissan 2wd pickup automatic transmission,

Have the vehicle scanned for codes. If the codes are transmission related such as a shift solenoid, a blockage in the circuit, not enough line pressure, some thing wrong with ECU or its circuitry take the vehicle to a transmission repair shop.

VW beetle manual to automatic conversion-- possible?

Forget it. The automatic has different electronic components like transmission modules .sensors, ECM and cooling systems. Flywheel motor mounts and supports and sub-frame parts are different also. All of this would require a complete different engine and body harness and switches. Look for one with an automatic in it. try www.internetautoguide.com
