I have a 2005 Pacifica and I have no break lights. All the turn signals and light at the top of the hatch light up when I hit my breaks but the two main ones won't light up. They light up at night with the lights on they just won't brighten up when I hit my breaks and all the fuses are good and the bulbs aren't blown?
I think you should buy repair manual first for your vehicle after that it will be easy for you to solve the problem. Check the link may be you will find something useful here

Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Almost always, your described concern indicates a loose ground particularly on the driver side. What is required is to check the connectors leading to the driver rear side and/or a ground wire. Often, the problem would be the ground terminal is loose or corroded leading to the body of the vehicle. A temporary workaround is to determine which is the ground in the bulb socket (always the body) and wire a jumper wire to any exposed metal part of the rear end.
Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.

Check the brake light switch should be a orange wire with 12v then a white wire with 12v when the pedal is pressed. If htat cks good then ck the hazard switch by moving it up and down and wiggeling the knob with the brake pedal pressed if they start working then your multifunction switch is bad and needs to be replaced.
