Astro HESITATES upon initial accellerating.

My 94 Astro (v-6 vortec) hesitates when accellerating. If accellerator is slowly pushed, no problem. The quicker you do, the more severe the initial hesitation. If the motor doesn't stall it will "catch up" and run just fine afterword. I've replaced wires, plugs, cap, rotor, and MAP sensor with no difference in hesitation. Whether it's hot, warm, or cold it still does it.

Have you replaced the fuel filter lately? It should be replaced every 10,000 miles or so. Located drivers side on frame half way back. Good Luck!

You will have to get the trouble codes read to find out what is causing the vehicle to hesitate and the check engine light to illuminate.

After driving and warming up the engine it hesitates after you come to a stop. engine idles fine but push the accellerator and it take a few to sec. to go. 2004 murano

You may want to look into your MAF (mass air flow) sensor. Or it also sounds like a TPS (throttle position sensor). Both can cause the same thing. If you put your A/C on full blast while in drive and you foot on the brake you may have a TPS problem. Hope this helps and please rate me.

Engine midfiring, check engine light on, hesitates on accelleration

its your camshaft postion sensor. You have to change the whole sensor not just the cap. Around 50 bucks at o'riley's autopart store.
