SOURCE: Remove the right rear door panel in a Mercury Sable

Removed two screws from the perimeter of the door, one in the back edge and the other under the bottom. Remove one screw from the handle cup where the window switch is located. Placed some tape around the edge of the handle cup for protection against scratches and pried the cup out with a small putty knife. It is hard, but will pop out. Next I taped the paint around the door panel and used a flat bar to reach behind the panel and had enough of a gap to see the orange tabs and pried each one to remove the panel completely. The panel does not need to be lifted up to removed, just pull it straight off the door. A few tabs may still be holding, but will pop off with a bit of pressure.

I have a 1995 Mercury Sable 3.8L V6. I removed the panel below the steering column. I think the flasher is located above and to the left of the fuse panel. It's a small black cube with part

Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted behind instrument panel if it has 5 terminals your looking at a relay not a flasher , flashers have 2or 3 terminals

How to replace a oil pan gasket 2003 mercury sable

1st. Can you remove the oil pan without partially removing the engine? If - YOU CAN'T - take it to a local ASE Professional. Concerns: 1 - rear main seal, will it be damaged when you remove the oil pan. 2. Front oil seal, pan seal, same concern? Lets assume you can remove the oil pan, ok, ... you MUST get the TWO gasket surfaces clean, smooth, I mean REAL CLEAN. SIT THE oil pan with the gasket surface up and flat, ..CLEAN THE GASKET SURFACES AND EVERY BOLT with QUICK EVAPORATING brake cleaner or acetone. Let then dry. Get some Permatex spray "red" gasket glue/sealer. Spray the pan side of the gasket with the red glue, carefully lay the gasket on the pan, use the bolts to locate the gasket, make sure the gasket is seated against the pan 100% around the edges!!!! Let the gasket dry overnight!! Then spray the face of the gasket with the red sealant before installing, do it while its still tacky. tighten all bolts finger tight, then start a criss cross pattern, start slowly tightening them (WITH A QUALITY TORQUE WRENCH) TO 50% OF RECOMMENDED.VALUE, keeping the criss cross pattern to 75%, then to 100 - 110% of FACTORY SPECIFICATION. This should stop all gasket caused leaks!!

The Oil light came on on my 1996 Mercury Sable I changed the Sending unit but that didn't help so I was told that it may be the oil pump I pulled the oil pan off, and removed the oil pump. I tore

Have you checked if the fault is your oil filter, probably the filter pressure valve inside doesn't keep any pressure? or the other thing is a possibility of the pressure pipes are clogged or semi clogged.

95 Mercury Sable oil headache

1999Mercury Sable died...acts like battery dead or alternator, however with key off there is a click, click sound and as soon as you giggle ignition and make sound stop ...there is power but as soon as you turn key on it all goes dead again.. battery takes a charge and don't think its an alternator problem.. think it is a relay switch...possibly the windshield wipers.. have noticed that the wipers turned on for no reason a couple of times and once again when I was messing with this situation
