I had the same thing happen to my 2000 navigator. Went through so many batteries, an alternator, etc.As it turns out there is a modular in the brain that is supposed to shut everything down when you turn off the car but mine wasn’t doing that so it sat there and drained the battery. They replaced that and it’s fine now.
Depends on how long it takes to drain. Overnight or a few days. If its overnight its probably the glove box light not turning off. If its over a few days its the alternator. They are a bit pricey on these cars. Most of the chain auto stores will test it for free on the car. Id start with that.
Sounds like u need to check for battery draw...something is keeping power coin when car is off and draining battery...
Also may wanna check alternator for charging...
