Hello I have a1995 Mustang that tore up and I took

The computer won't let it , needs to see key transponder code . No key no start . You can't bypass it ,you can't hot wire it . Do yourself a favor an take it to a qualified repair shop or call a mobile locksmith that is licensed to program new key's . You have no clue what your dealing with.

If the shop could find the problem, why
can they not resolve it ?

Need a different shop, if there is such
a place these days, that can actually
fix something

YOU CAN PURCHASE AN IGNITION SWITCH WITH NEW KEYS FROM PARTS STORE! IF YOU CAN;T INSTALL IT, ASK A SALVAGE YARD, OR MECHANIC FRIEND TO HELP YOU! VERY INEXPENSIVE!

I would suggest that you have the altenator tested to ensure that it is not overcharging at high RPM. Hope this helps, let me know.

hello, i would suggest trying to replace your solinoied realy, try starting again, when it continues to run on pull the realay insted of disconecting the battery if this stops it, you may have bin isued a latching realay type, from your parts supplyer.

detemp ball/button could be broke check the brake linkage/switch to the trans if not any of those block the tires start it and have someone get in and hold the brake then get under it and see if you can move the linkage.

I Had The Same Problem... In The Same Year Car except i have a manual trans. and a correction the the post below me the keys do have a chip.. i recently went and took my original key and had it copied (as a spare) .. and went to try the new key out and it would turn the cars electronics on but wouldnt crank the car. ford later told me the keys are programmed... jus so u have to go to the dealer and spend more money to get a new key

Blue to headlights
White to Headlight switch
Brown to fuse hot
Red to ignition switch starter side
Orange to ignition switch keyed on
Green to ground

hello you can take a 1/2 in metal drill bit and drill straight through the center seams like a bad idea but does work once you cut the pin off the back it all falls apart then you just turn it to acc. with a screwdriver and install new one

If you check some of the 79-93 mustang resto dealers they will have a new ignition.
