SOURCE: Ford F150 AC Problem

there is a vent opening linkage for the top vents if you had removed panel for sterio install this linkage might have come loose or the wiren to electric relay to open top vents came loose

also vent doors on front of a/c vents are turned to the closed position

also quite possible the passenger blower motor compartment door in side the blower mode has something blocking entrance

also your truck might be equiped with a blower motor filter i read that these need to be changed out during normal filter replacements the filters for ford i didnt know they started using filters for a/c on reading this since 2000

SOURCE: where is the in cab air filter located in my 2003

Wow, that's a great question, as I researched it, I found listings of cabin air filters at some parts suppliers, but could find no reference to location or info in the original owners manual. So, what I found is that it was a dealer add on option, not standard equipment or a factory available item. If you have the dealer add on, it should be located under the dash glove box, but you most likely don't have it. The kit # if you want to add it is the following Ford part #, but it may not be available, and check w/ Ford to make sure it will fit your year, model, as I got this # off the internet, and haven't checked it at the Ford website:F65Z-18D477-AA. Good luck!

Testimonial: "Thanks for your help. The auto parts store mentioned that there were 2 filters but did not mention that they were an option on my truck. Thanks again"

Ambient air temp is readying high on my 2007 Ford F150, possible causes?

Usually it is the temp probe on the radiator support behind the grille.
When you pop the hood there are 2 probes there, 1 in the ambient air temp probe, the other is the front impact severity sensor. temp probe has the little probe sticking out of it. I have seen mixed results on replacing this, some it corrects the issues, others are still not happy after the replacement. I make the assumption ( bad thing some times ) that the ones that are unhappy are using an incorrect comparison temp sensor ( bank sign, etc ).
