Chances are the smell is coming from a fuel leak around the engine.
The air vents pull air in from the engine compartment, especially when the car is moving.

SOURCE: Smells like gasoline in car when it's in idol

Take a look around engine with flashlight and follow fuel lines from throttle body, as far as you can until they go under the car out of sight. A fuel leak is not something to fool a round with if your not experienced in repairs. Your safety & others is at risk, have it checked out a.s.a.p.

SOURCE: Unwanted fumes gas in ford falcon futura

is the car on recirculate or fresh air? air from your aircon comes through the bottom of your front windscreen, make sure its clear and free of leaves or anything that can cause blockage to stop it from become damp inside the aircon ducts. if it is definately petrol fumes you may have an exhaust leaking from your engine bay, releasing the fumes into your cabin, that is the most common reason for petrol fumes in your aircon.

SOURCE: gas fumes inside and out side the car when it is hot outside

Try having the area that the hose was disconnected from steamed cleaned, or go to a car wash wash and spray the area. It might help, that is if you already haven't done so.

SOURCE: I smell strong gas fumes

If it is a gas leak and not an exhaust leak, let it sit in park and look under the car for the leak (above and on the floor). At times it is the lines of the sending unit found above the gas tank. Do not drive it! The leak can catch on fire ( the leak can spread over hot parts of the car while driving). If you find the leak, have it towed to your mechanic for repair.

Put a new in tank fuel pump in 3 days ago in my hyundai accent, but can smell petrol inside the car.

I would double check that your fuel tank is sealed. Fuel fumes can be very bad for your health and can be very dangerous. Sounds as though the gas line may be leaking, or the fuel pump seal is leaking.

Hello dedunwoodie.
Your heater core is beginning to leak coolant.
As the fan blows through it it is picking up the liquid and depositing it on your windshield.
It will need to be replaced to solve your problem.

Petrol smeling inside car

If you have petrol smelling inside the car you probably have an open area of the car's body that permits outside air to enter. is the smell greater in the front or back? This is not easy to fix as you have to locate exactly from where the leak comes from by smelling and following to the source. In the engine compartment there is a small filter that vents fumes from the tank to prevent explosion of the tank due to increase in pressure as the car moves. At the tank section that might be a broken vent hose.
