After high speed driving, slow speed shudder

After driving at highway speeds for a while, when I am parking or driving really slow the car shudders. Especially when I am turning tight. Only after driving at higher speeds. What could it be?

When it starts to shutter get the car up on a lift and spin the wheels and look and see if there is a wheel bubble.
if the brakes were done recently a binding brake pad can cause some of that.
hope this helps

Bad shuddering/shaking at high speeds. 2000 Dodge Caravan 3.3l fwd

Typical behavior for a wheel is out of balance. Get all four checked. Also look for bulges on the inside of the tyres. If the camber is that noticeable, you also need wheel alignment doing as well. It also sounds as though the suspension or steering joints are severely worn, and if a top or bottom joint fails, the wheel falls out, top or bottom leaving you stranded on the road.

1995pontiac,firebird6cyl,sputters at 2000rpm

When you say "sputters at 2000 rpm" , are you referring to ANY time the engine is at 2000 rpm - meaning in Park, when you are just goosing the throttle, or in gear when you are accelerating, or at highway speed in high gear? If you are experiencing a "shuddering" in the engine at certain speeds/rpms - especially if these are speeds you regularly cruise at (long commutes at steady speeds), the problem could be in the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). They have a tendency to wear unevenly if you drive a certain steady speeds. Eventually, the problem would progress to an engine code, but it may occur without setting the check engine light.

Audi a4 20t fsi

steering problems at speed is attributable to incorrect wheel alignment from worn suspension and steering assemblies. Have the front end checked out and have a wheel alignment done as it is most likely a castor wobble ( negative castor angle from sagged springs )

Hi there,
It could be your power steering pump. Have you put fluid in your pump lately? Try that. I hope this helps you. Let me know. Have a great day.~MWD
