This code refers to the crankshaft position sensor. The sensor may be bad and need replacement. If the sensor is bad it can cause the symptoms you are mentioning
You need to put a fuel pressure tester in the fuel rail and then determine weather or not you need the fuel pump replaced,if this is not the case then the throttle position sensor is likely the culprit.
My 2000 Grand Cherokee had the same problem, without all the sputtering, it would just die approaching a stop. We could only keep it running by slightly pushing down on the gas petal when coming to a stop. I replaced the Throttle Position Sensor, but that didn't change anything. A new mechanic I found replaced the Idle Air Control Valve, and we've had no problems in a week.
yes it can but you may have a coolant temp sensor acting up which causes the computer to open the injectors to much which can also cause this 02 sensor code. when it stalls do u have spark and fuel pressure.
