Air bag light is on in hyundai sonata. How do I fix or shut off

You can remove the bulb by pulling the dash apart however if the light is on it usually means that the clock spring is bad or the sensor is bad. The replacement of both of these items can be done by the do it your selfer however I would check the fuse first then if anything else needs to be done if your not confident in removing the steering wheel take it to a shop if you are though then remove the positive battery cable first. If the battery is hooked up then you risk serious injury.

99 hyundai sonata brake light and battery light is on

I would recommend you take it to a shop and have the alternator tested, or take the part off the car and have it bench tested in a store.
You may also have a bad fuse or fusable link between the battery and the alt.

I can't find the location of the crankshaft postion sensor in my 2000 Hyundai sonata

My online Sonata manual shows these possibilities, but does not identify which applies specifically to 2000 Sonata.
Also, when you talk to the dealership parts counter, you'll need to know whether your 2000 Sonata is (a) 4-cylinder 2.4L MFI DOHC engine, or (b) 6-cylinder 2.5L MFI DOHC engine.
Its easy to tell - just count your spark plug wires.

-- begine excerpt from 2000 Hyundai Sonata Repair guide --

The crankshaft position sensor is located next to the flywheel.
The crankshaft position sensor is located next to the flywheel/torque converter.
The camshaft position sensor is located on the engine near the timing belt cover and under the upper radiator hose.
The crankshaft position sensor is located on the driver-s side of the vehicle, down by the lower radiator hose.
The crankshaft position sensor is located on the engine near the crankshaft pulley.
The crankshaft position sensor is located at the front of the engine near the timing belt.

Lights come on. I hear one crank but car won't start

Will the wipers work with the key in the run position? If not, it's the battery. Try a jump start. If the battery's ok you need to measure volts and amps at the starter to check for clean connections and internal failures.

Stereo doesn't work after battery changed

it does sound like a fuse problem. make sure the fuse you replaced did not blow again. the radio will have two fuses for it , one ignition fuse to make it work and a permanaent supply fuse to keep the memory when you turn the car off. i would check all the fuses, even tho they look good they could still be blown. best way to check them is to turn the ignition on and with a 12 volt tester go across both sides of the fuse, the tester should work across both sides, if it only works one side it heas blown. just a thought in regards to the battery change make sure all the cables have been put on correctly, none left or on wrong side. hope this helps.
