My 01 mdx says code then a 6 8 or e I can't put

Hello, there are several places the company will put your code. First check the glove box second the drivers side door jamb third is the engine compartment fuse box cover inside the cover, The code will always a 5 digit code good luck and save money Mike L.

you more then likely have an anti theft device, trying putting a flasher on either left or right and try, due all the dash gauges light up when you put the key to the on position? you can try unplugging battery and replugging it, ensure you have the radio code for stock radio before doing so.

You will have to contact an Acura dealer. Given the VIN number of your car they can tell you the radio code as long as it is the original radio.

if it's not in the glove compartment,you will need to remove radio and call dealer with the number on top of radio to get code.

you will need to contact the dealer to get the code, we don't supply them here because of the radio being stolen we would be giving you the information to use a stolen radio the dealer will set it for you as long as you have proff of registration.

You need to get the serial number off the sticker attached to the radio. It will require pulling apart your dash. Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code. Or you can take it directly to the dealer but you will be charged labor.

If that is the serial # of the radio any Aucra dealer can provide the radio code. You can also sign up at the Acura website under owner's section and get the code.

Best way to find this is look in side your owners manual. It is security code to protect from theft. If not call a Acura dealer or the shop you had it done at. They should help.

i had this problem when i bought my mdx second hand. i called the acura dealer and they gave me a code. you will need ur serial numbers off the sticker on the top of the radio.keep it safe cause when ever u dissconnect your batt it is gonna do it all over again!

You will need to find your radio serial number...this is how you can do it on a 2001 MDX

Press preset buttons 1 and 6 at the same time.

Turn on radio.

An 10 digit serial number will appear on display. make sure to include the small numbers or letters as well. This only works if the radio is locked.
After getting the radio serial number you will need your VIN number...call the dealership where you purchased the vehicle and give them both numbers and they can get it for you...thats the only way I know how to get the code.
