My van will not idle and eventually sets a low idle code

SOURCE: engine idled too low sometimes dies when stopped

clean your throttle plate. do this by removing air intake hose and open throttel sparay down flap with carb cleaner and wipe down with a clean rag

Hope you had not dismantled the throttle. Kindly check for any vacuum leaks and also check the mass air flow meter if okay. You may run a diagnosis and attain error codes

I have a 94 F 150 4 by 4 5. 8 liter front fuel tank does not work only starts on rear tank it is a long crank to start and the idle is very low at times fluctuates up and down.any suggestions please

Its a ford so for a ford starting is optional....

code p0102 refers to mass air flow(MAF) sensor /volume air flow (VAF) sensor -low input. Causes ---wiring short to ground --MAF/VAF sensor ---ECM.

Idles high,jumps high and low,cleaned throttle body,and still idles high,will come down but takes a minute or two,what could it beits a 2004,mag. v 8 ,4.7 liter

disconnect the negative battery clamp, and leave it off for 5-10 minutes-resets the computer and forces it to relearn the sensors-if the problem continues, your idle air control or the throttle position sensor are prime suspects.
