it is a recall from kia they will replace something in your steering wheel call the kia motors i had mine done for free because its a recall thats why your light is on a pin went nad they need to replace it call them

Its not on the list of items inspected for your state. You can find the list at the Texas Department of Public Safety online. Hope this helps you out.

i have a 2006.5 kia optima and my tire pressure is 32 and as for the airbag light mine is on also and have had it in the shop now 5 times and they said its the airbag in the steering wheel the wire is not getting a good connection causing the light to come on. you can take it to a kia dealer and have the airbag code ran for around 100.00. finally found a dealer who treats me right and gave me the correct advise for the airbag as for the cost for fixing it haven't been that far yet. hope this helps

Does your cruise control work? If not it is the brake light switch. It will be a small mechanical switch that will be activated when pushing down on the brake pedal. May need a new switch or just adjusting.

there is no way you can check it your self, it has to be taken to dealer so the whole system can be scanned for a problem. it has detected a problem in system. good-luck!!

It will need to be diagnosed since you have a couple of airbags and a few connectors and a few computers which can cause this light to come on.

no worries about the airbag light. just be sure to wear you seatbelt. in the event of and accident the airbag may or may not deploy! but to replace the airbag unit its self will be very costly $800-2500. as for the noise you may need to be more specific. its can be anything from alignment, bad ball join, bad motor mount or tran mount, bent rim, or even a bad tire

Under driver and passenger seats are wires that go to seat belt anchors.These are tensioner wires.Unplug the wires from the plug under the seat.clean and replace.Doing this while the ignition is turned off.Then turn ignition back on.In 90% of the time this is your problem.Constant movement of seat causes this or rear passengers kicking plugs off.Good luck phil.
