I have a 2001 Saturn sc2. I left my lights on over night and the car wouldn't start. I had someone try and jump my car but it would fire up. The head lights and interior lights come on but the radio doesn't. It sounds like its trying to turn over but it won't. I tried charging the battery but it still didn't work. I'm still charging it hoping it will work. What do you think the problem is?

How old is the battery? If over 3 years it may take a prolonged amount of time to recover from a complete drain. There's a chance that the battery will never charge again too.

SOURCE: Battery good, wont turn over, just a click when try to start

it is most likley starter relay or starter.with vehicle in park and e-brake on have someone tap on the starter with hammer while your trying to start.if starter starts to crank then you know the starter is on the way out.if starter does not crank it may already be shot.srarter relay is on fire wall check power + ground.

SOURCE: my bmw 528I WON'T START AND WON'T JUMP START

Hi Lisa!
This possibly is a immobilizer fault and I would be looking at the Fob/Zapper. The way the immobilizer works is to disable the starter and ignition system.
These fobs have batteries so try replacing them, if you still have the same grief it may need re-coding.
Phone or pop into your local BMW dealer with the Log book/title and ask for their assistance, It shouldn't be expensive unless the vehicle needs to towed/trailered but I'm sure a Girley smile should persuade someone to visit you at home to code the fob to the car.
Hope this FixYa's problem!

SOURCE: 2001 Saturn SC2 Electrical issue

I had the same problem in a 1997 SC2.  Turns out that finicky/broken door lock/unlock switches were causing an intermittent short.
I removed the 20A fuses to these locks in the switch panel under the radio.  Problem fixed.

Are you saying the engine cranks but won't start, or the engine won't crank ?
If the engine does not crank, you would check for voltage at the starter, the neutral safety switch, and the key switch as well as the ground connections.

How would I fix a 1996 saturn sc2 headlight it wont close

Open the hood look beside the head light ( for the passenger side it will be on the left and the drivers side it will be on the right) there will be a small motor. its round kinda cylinder . grab the top of the motor but dont hold it will its on or when turning it on it turns really fast. But take the plastic or rubber cap off and turn the top part to the left or right which ever is easier. then try it. I have to turn mine to the left but mine sometimes will not come up
