have you cked the glove box for a sticker with a 4 digit #
if you have the owners manual ck under Radio or Safety
for the 4 digit code.
If not there you'll have to contact Audi
hi, the only place you can get this code from is the main dealers you use to be able to get them over the phone but they no longer do this as thieves were knicking the stereos then ringing up and getting the unlock code and then selling them on, so all car dealers now will only give the code out if you take the car to them and the owners documents and some id they wont charge for giving you this code but make sure you write it down for future reference.
Im sorry their is no easy fix for this problem but its going to be a case of taking the car to the main dealers and asking them for the code this will then solve your problem.
Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
This Is a General Manufacturers Code Which They Always Want You To Come In and They Pull The Code For You. I would Suggest That If They Do It for Free....Make Good Dealer Friends =) ...Rarely In some cases with other car manufacturers they allow you to call customer service with a VIN and All verifications pertaining to your vehicle....Anothers words, Its Gotta Be Legally Yours =) Hey try a Car Audio dealer too. they may charge too a small fee but for Audi's Nice A$$ Stereo systems it will be worth it.
try another dealer. maybe try to get ahold of one of the techs at lunch time. this info should be free to the car owner, just be ready to supply the title to the car for some proof. maybe try buying the parts guys lunch or coffee and donuts....this usually works for this type of problem. unfortunaley this info really is dealer only..
You should have been given the radio code for the vehicle when purchased, if not you will have to visit your local audi dealer for them to obtain the code from germany, check your audio handbook to see if the code is in there
I just posted a solution for this problem. It comes straight from the radio manual. The dealer should have told you this. If you want him to do it he'll charge money for his time. IF YOU LOST YOUR CODE. THE DEALER CAN HELP YOU OR IF YOU HAVE YOUR 4 DIGIT CODE:
