The dealer knows what is required for a 60,000 mile check up as the manufacturer is the one that has set the check up schedules for the cars it manufactures.

My service engine light came on a few days ago i thought it was the tank cap that wasnt seal completly like it should be i try that and the check engine continue im afraid it could be something serious...

your vehicle may still be under warranty. Call your local dealer and provide your VIN#, warranty is 60months/60,000 mile powertrain warranty, 96months/80,000 mile emissions warranty. I strongly recommend contacting the dealer before your vehicle hits 60,000 miles.

60,000 checkup When should the timing belt be replaced?

Most cars call for replacement of the belt at 60,000 miles. On many cars, if the belt breaks, it can cause extensive (and expensive) damage to the engine, so you want to get this done soon.

What maintenance work is done at the 120000 mile service checkup ?

It will pretty much be the same as the 60,000 mile check up. This website will tell you more about it.

Timing belt in a 2005 hyundai replacement

You should find another dealer. Hyundai recommends replacing the belt every 60,000 miles and this dealer knows this. No reason at all to replace it at 42,093 miles. Remember that this is an interference engine so if the belt breaks serious engine damage will occur. Do not neglect this service at 60,000 miles.

If there is no problems with the performance of your vehicle i would just leave it alone. You should still get 20 to 30 thousand miles out of it yet.Dont fix what is not broken.

How do you know when youneed a tune up on a 2001ford taurus

Owner's manula will specify what needs to be done and when under the maintence chart. Newer cars generally go 60,000 to 100,000 miles before needing to replace the spark plugs. On most cars that is about all you do besides changing the oil (generally every 3,000 mile). Read the owner's manual and don't let a shop or a dealer sell you on the idea of speeding up the maintenance schedule (replacing things at 60,000 when the manual says to wait until 100,000).

What is recommended for a 75000 mile checkup on a 2002 Chevy Tahoe, 5.3 2wd.

You don't need a service of any kind at this mileage, u do need to have this diagnosed for worn front end parts and a full electronic engine control diagnostic, but i will say this the fuel and air filter needs to be changed every 30,000 miles, it this hasn't been done do so, also the transmission needs a fluid and filter change every 60,000 miles, check tire pressure once a month, all these maintainence items affect performance.
