Try a new fuel filter. If that doesn't help, check the fuel pressure--may be a plugged intake sock filter inside the fuel tank.

I had one with the coolant temp sensor telling the ECU is was -40 in July. Replaced the sensor, was fine after.

Fuel pressure is critical for vortec motors. Most of them require a minimum of 55psi at the rail for the engine to start properly. I worked at a GM dealer and I remember it being a common problem. Change your filter on a regular basis. If the fuel pressure checks out then either the injector is bad or there is no injector pulse. Use a noid light or a high impedance test light to check for pulse.
