Replace your relay under the hood. Very very common problem. There is a re-call for this issue, but no permanent fix yet. So just replace the low beam relay.

Hello, try to start by checking the headlight relay and headlight fuse. You also may want to check to make sure the bulbs aren't blown out. If those parts check out to be fine and in working order, you may need to replace the turn signal assembly in the steering column. This part controls the hi/low beams. This may sound crazy but, when GM wired their older trucks, they wired the headlights to go from the battery, to the hi/low beam switch, then to the headlight switch (to the left of the steering wheel) then out to the light bulbs. You can kind of test to see if this part is good by making a fist and (with your headlights on) gently hitting the plastic cover for your steering column that is right behind your actual steering wheel. This could cause your headlights to flicker on and off.

Thanks

Relay in fuse box under hood on driver side wheel well labeled HDM, #46 on 2004 Envoy XUV. Swap with relay #45 labeled "Fan" to test. That was my problem.

Good Luck,

Relay #46 in the underhood fuse panel is probably bad. You can verify this by swapping it with relay #45. Also, sometimes the relay contacts become corroded, check these when you have the relay out.

How did you check the relay? Have you tried switching relay #45 with relay #46?

My low beam headlights won't turn on in 2004 gmc envoy

It's the headlamp relay #46. If you want to test it, swap it out with the cooling fan relay #45 and see if your headlights work. If they do you know this is the fix. Found the solution online a couple of years ago and it was spot-on. The part was $45 at autozone at the time.

GMC Envoy 2003 SLT only the parking lights and fog lights work. The low beam and high beam don't work. Please help

Well, the problem is that I dont know the reason, you should investigate. There could be issues with lamps (must get new) or electricity problems (must head to auto-service)

2004 envoy xuv low beams dont work switched fuses 45 and 46 still nothing any ideas

Other possibilities are; the bulbs themselves, burnt or corroded bulb sockets, or a bad headlight selector switch.

Try swapping relays #45 & 46 in the underhood fuse box. #46 is for the low beams.

2003 GMC Envoy low beam head lights will not come on. The bulbs are not blown, fuse's ok, no power coming to the head light connector. minimal power to the fuse compartment with fuse removed. 9 to 10...

The problem is a Headlight module. Fuse box under the hood has two black modules side by side, the one on your right is the headlight module the one on the left is the fan module. Try swapping them, if the headlights work replace bad module, don't drive vehicle with the bad module in the fan slot. Mine kept going bad because I had a high intensity bulb on one side.

Both low beam headlights are out and i need to check the fuses and i need a fuse giagram

The headlights do not have a fuse, check to see if they are just burned out,use a test light ,cheap at the parts store, and check where the headlight plugs in at,turn the headlights on,see if it will light the test light,,if it does, then the head lights are burned out,if it does not, then if the high beams work, then the dimmer switch is bad.
