SOURCE: 1997 Honda Civic EX: Exhaust fumes coming inside

hi, this might help you:

at first make sure your air system is set to take the inside air of the car. this is the button with the car on it with above this little car a circular arrow like as if air circulates only within the car, or like the air from the outside wont circulate inside the car.

if not:

if possible get a expert to do a check up of the body/chassis, it might be in a condition where rust has made wholes in eg a part under your seat.

it might also be that something is wrong with the ventilation part of your honda, like 'tubes' are leaking within the engine bay or??? something like that.

ive had a honda, not this problem, but i think it'll be something with the isolation and or the plates between the chassis 'bars'....

hope you'll find a solution soon.

SOURCE: Hi so my 1997 honda

There is a gasket seal that you can purchase to replace the seal. There really aren't any flaws I have heard of with the slide back power sunroof. (I am guessing this is the sun roof you have). There could be something caught in the seal. Check and see if you have a stick, acorn, or ect stuck in the seal first. The only other thing I can think of would be the final stage of closure on that particular sunroof not working. They close and then seat. Check the track ways to ensure they are not bent or jammed with something. Hope that helps.

1997 honda accord sunroof drain problem

You need to open the sunroof fully and locate the small drain holes at each corner. They will be blocked with debris. Get a piece of welding wire or the likes and carefully unblock the hose by prodding and pouring water down it. When cleared the water shout run away freely.
