There is a relay but the most common issue is the headlight switch

Take it to mechanic with proper equipment to set them

the whole assmbly or the bulb is bad.
any auto body shop can show you or do the latter.
the bulb is covered in the operators guide (glove box) of all cars.

hi i am not 100% sure but i think it is the P11 144 gearbox its used with the almera qg15de engine. i think it is also used in a primera and almera tino of the same years.

renew the bulbs

I needed my headlight bulb changed. The repair shop quoted $125. Their repair manual said the front bumper had to be removed to access the light. But they found a work-around: by removing the battery, they were able to get at the light and replace the bulb. Only cost me $46 to replace my $5 bulb!

Have you taken your Altima to a dealership in a while? There was a recall on the 05 Altima for misalligned headlights...thus resulting in poor lighting quality...this could be the reason as well...
