I have a 2003 nissan altima and in park it idels high and then it slowly comes down and then it jerks and it has no acceleiration at all and i just put a new motor in it and the motor works fine

That usually happens if you're in too high a gear. If it also seems to accelerate slowly, you may have a fouled plug or other cause of a dead cylinder.
May be throttle position sensor. The engine light comes on because of afault signal from one of the sensors. Going out is temporary. After 3 events, the ligh will come on again. It needs to be scanned to find the problem sensor. more than likely the TPS. Good luck
What color is the smoke? White smoke is moisture/steam - which can indicate coolant is leaking into the engine (head gasket going bad).
Have you noticed your coolant level going down? Check the level in the overflow tank and the radiator each day (after the car has sat for several hours) and see if it slowly goes down.
