I just bought this car a week ago. Today the steering wheel came loose and would spin without the wheels turning left or right. I found the center bolt nut loose. I re-tightened it and now it's like the power steering pump isn't working when trying to turn the steering wheel. I am assuming the mounting ****** that is under the bolt nut is in the wrong position. Is there a schematic for this and who would carry parts in the metro Phoenix area?
SOURCE: Left-front wheel bearing is worn-out
the wheel bearing will need to be pressed on so unless you know someone to press it for you you might want to take it to a shop.

if i remember right those belts are not together cuz your car has two belts on it one that goes from the crank pullel that runs the a/c and alt and then one thats from the crank to the power steering

Hi Hollings,
You description was very good, I need to ask for a specific.
When you turn to the left, the wheel is stiff like the engine is off or does it turn smoothly but the vehicle doesn't turn or seem to respond.
I'm trying to rule out broken mounts,
Also, if the wheel is all the way to the right, is it difficult turning back to the left the whole way, or half way. See where I'm going.?
Please comment back your findings
Best regards
Mike
