Hi bit tricky u need to unclip the cloth from under the seat and roll it up half way till you can see the old cables then take the lever off and attach the new cable its usually the cable nearest the lever that breaks first

There realy is no way to "repair" these things. They make the parts "throw away" now and it makes it really difficult to repair anything anymore. The best thing to do do is find someone who is good at metal/welding fabrication and see how much to make a new part. One more thing you can do is call the Ford rep from the number in your owner's handbook and see if they will help. Get all your paperwork in order showing past repairs of the seat and that it has in fact been an ongoing issue and you seek them to make it right and proper so you may enjoy your vehicle. Don't forget to express what an "inconvienance" this is and how it has "disrupted your work schedule time and time again". At the risk of sounding insensitive or rude, if weight is an issue, they may call that into play. Be prepared and state that "it should have already been tested for real people and real weight scenarios", and "when I purchased the vehicle new, no one informed me that I may cause these issues time and time again or I would have purchased a different vehicle that has a better quality rating and would hold me up!!" Let me know if you need any more help or any other ways to address them. Keep in mind, "you are a loyal Ford customer and will continue to purchase their products provided they stand behind them!!" and you want them on your side.!

There should be latch on the lower right side of the seat. If this not working properly the seat wont release from the lock.
Register at www.autozone.com (it's free). Once registered you'll have access to several repair manuals that should show how to fix it and what part you'll need. You can then get the part from a dealer or save $$ and gert it from an auto parts store.
