Sounds like this wire should operate the electric fuel pump through the fuel pump relay. The fuel pump relay should start the fuel pump to maintain fuel supply to the common fuel rail and any surplus fuel will be bleed back to tank by pressure control. The injector opening sequence is contolled by computer once the engine is properly timed.
If you say the engine runs for a few seconds it would indicate fuel pump or relay is not getting power to operate or fuel pump is not delivering enough pressure to feed the injectors

Can't find starter on a 2009 chrysler aspen hybrid

Aspen limited hybrid, 5.7L engine. Front wheel drive, the starter appears to be on backside of engine, down low. You'll probably have to safely raise and support the vehicle to get at starter motor. Anytime your working under a vehicle there are safety issues, safety is your responsibility. This database isn't always correct, if the picture is wrong, my bad.

Those are ground wires. I believe that they originally mounted to the rear of the intake manifold via either a 6mm or 8mm bolt. Find a spot to bolt this ring terminal back onto the engine.

I have got the starter diconnected from my 2005 5.7 jeep gc but I cant get it out to replace it

1. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Note: If equipped with 4WD and certain transmissions, a support bracket is used between front axle and side of transmission. Remove 2 support bracket bolts at transmission. Pry support bracket slightly to gain access to lower starter mounting bolt.
4. Remove two mounting bolts (2).
5. Move starter motor towards front of vehicle far enough for nose of starter pinion housing to clear housing. Always support starter motor (1) during this process, do not let starter motor hang from wire harness.
6. Tilt nose downwards and lower starter motor far enough to access and remove nut that secures battery positive cable wire harness connector eyelet to solenoid battery terminal stud. Do not let starter motor hang from wire harness.
7. Remove battery positive cable wire harness connector eyelet from solenoid battery terminal stud.
8. Disconnect battery positive cable wire harness connector from solenoid terminal connector receptacle.
9. Remove starter motor.

It was wired for a 4 wire flat trailer plug. the plug was ripped off and now there are wires coming from both tail lights and the drive lights on rear passenger and trailer dont work. Green, Black, brown/w...

You need to install a 3-2 wire converter. I suggest a CURT 56175 then
1.Using a test lamp, identify the corresponding wires in the harness for the left turn, right turn, tail lights and brake lights. 3. Temporarily remove the vehicle's negative battery cable from the battery. 4. Using wire taps, attach the input wires of the tail light converter to the corresponding vehicle harness wires identified in step 2 as indicated.
Converter Brown Wire: Tail Light Circuit Converter Yellow Wire: Left Turn Circuit Converter Red Wire: Brake Light Circuit Converter Green Wire: Right Turn Circuit
5. Locate a suitable mounting location for the ground eyelet on the vehicle near the converter on vehicle's frame or cross member.
And your ready to tow!

My o3 navigators adjustable brakes will only move about 1/2 inch either direction. It's fine if they don't work but is there any way to move them to the farthest position manually?

With both tail light lenses removed locate the black with yellow wires and the dark green with brown wires coming out of the brake/tail/turn signal sockets.

The black with yellow wire will be the running lights or tail lights and the brown wire from the trailer harness will attach to it.

The green wire on the trailer harness will be the right turn signal and will be attached to the passenger side tail light harness dark green with brown wire.

The yellow wire on the trailer harness will be the left turn signal and will be attatched to the dark green with brown wire on the drivers side tail light harness.

The white wire on the trailer harness is the ground wire and will need to be attached to a good ground. Is it pretty easy to crimp an eyelet onto the end of the wire and use a self tapping screw to attach it to the body behind one of the tail light lenses.

Here is a trailer light/wiring article I have done in the past. It has a couple of good tips you may find useful.
