I would sugewst to check at a part store buy a serpinetine belt and look at diagram on side of box most belts come with diagram or go on to google images and look for your engine

Diagram for 2001 jetta 2.0. water pump needs replaced. where is it?

The water pump is driven off of the timing belt. Might as well do T-belt and access. while you are in there.

Oh, and make sure the replacement pump has a metal (brass) impeller. The factory pump has a metl shaft w/a plastic impeller. Once in a while these cause somebody a headache when the impeller seperates

Timing belt was very loose so i changed the timing belt tensioner pulley.I tried to make sure and not move the timing belts position on the cam and crank but now im not sure if it may have moved.I located...
