Hi....
The fuel Pump relay (main relay)
On your Honda Accord is located:
Left side of the dash, near left side of the steering column.
On direction under the Instrument cluster.
You will need to remove the Cruise control Module if your car is equipaded with cruise control.
The cruise control module is atached fro 2 screw 10mm.
One on the steering column the other one at the Instrument bracket.
After you remove the cruise computer, you will see the relay.
Is a little bigger that a regular relay colour gray.
And the number on the relay is : RZ0088.

I hope this help on your question.
Thank you for use fixya....

SOURCE: Honda Removal of factory radio 1991 Accord lx

start by removing the console. there should be four screws that hold it in; two on each side; one in the front and one in the rear. you may have to take the gearshift knob of if the car is manual trans.then, remove the ash tray. there are two screws at the front of the ashtray receiver and one at the back.with the ashtray and slide removed, take the bezel off of the radio. there should be two screws behind or above the air outlet vents on top andn two screws in the under the center dividing rail. you may have to pop out the air outlets to get to the screws. there may also be a screw at the bottom of the bezel in the center.with the bezel removed the only thing that holds the radio in at that point is two screws that come up from underneath where the ashtray receiver was. take out those two screws and the radio should pull out from the front. Be sure to disconnect the antenna lead and the connector from the back of the radio before pulling on it too hard or you'll damage one or the other.hope that helps

SOURCE: where is the valet switch for honda accord 2002 lx?

Hi,
Does the vehicle have an aftermarket alarm system? Is the valet switch for this what you are looking for? If so, it depends entirely on who installed it as where they have put it, although it's usually under the dash on the driver’s side. Some alarms have different sequences that you have to go through to put the alarm into valet mode; it's not usually just a switch that you flick. Best to pop into an alarm or stereo installer and see if they can spot it for you, or if the car is immobilized, find out what sort of alarm it is and call an installer for the info on the valet procedure.

Could a faulty IAT sensor on a Honda Accord LX 1997 cause over-hearting?

A faulty Intake Air Temperature sensor would not cause overheating. Have your cooling fans, fan relay, thermostat, and cooling fan switch checked. These are possible causes and are known to cause this problem on these models.

Trying to locate where the thermostat is on a 1991 Honda Accord LX

The thermostat is usually located at the lower radiator hose inlet to the engine, that is where you will find the thermostat housing to remove the thermostat.

Remember that the spring end of the thermostat should always go towards the engine, and not towards the radiator hose.

1991 honda accord lx cooling fan

Some vehicles have sensors that can control the electric fan with the ignition off to keep the heat buildup that naturally occurs right after turning off the engine. This can prevent hard starting that can happen with a hot engine. If it is doing this an abnormal amount, the sensor that is operable with the ignition off may be failing. Before turning off the ignition, check to see if the engine temperature is pushing the 'red zone;' if it is, then the fan operation may be normal but your engine may be running hot.

My cooling fan will not cycle off. It runs until the battery dies

At first I would have said it was your relay. They are known to get shorts and stay on. But you had that and the sensor changed. I would have to say it's time to trace teh wiring and make sure the wires aren't rubbing somewhere. It's a pain I know. I would start at the fan and work your way back to the relay. Might want to tap on the relay a little to make sure the new one didn't get shorted out by bad wireing somewhere else.
There is also a “cooling fan timer” located inside the vehicle in the driver sideof the dash. This is going to be much harder to diagnose….and I am notsure how expensive a guess that will be to replace. If the relay doesnot solve the problem, I would call your local Honda dealerparts department and tell them your problem and see what they say. Theyshould know which parts fail the most and what they sell the most of.
