If you can not get to bulb, Look at the light lens on trunk license plate. There may be screws on the lens to undue to get to bulbs. Good-Day!

kind of tricky, took me an hour to get it figured out, but you got to opend the trunk and take out the 10 or so 10mm nuts sticking out of the backside of the lid, then the whole solid piece where the lights are on the back will slide off, then you can change the bulbs above the license plate and put it all back together

SOURCE: license plate and trunk lights not working

Simple fix! OPen your trunk and look at the right side trunk hinge for a bundle of wires. Honda made the license plate wire a little too short and when you open your trunk it pulls on the wire a little until it disconnects. I'm pretty sure it a red/yellow wire but trace it to be sure. All I did was add a little length of wire between the two and haven't had a problem in over a year. BTW, the wires are wrapped in a ton of black tape. Hope this helps.

How to replace license plate bulb on 2004 Buick Century

You have to take out the entire back lights, Inside the trunk pull back the material and unscrew those plastic lugs. (Some years have lights on trunk when opened or under) But in my 01 the lights come up with the trunk. Remove those lugs. Take off the entire rear light assembly. You'll have easy access to the License plate bulbs. Sounds complicated but it takes a total of 10 minutes total. While your at it wash the area where the lights were on. A coat of wax left on will keep the water, moisture from rotting the surfaces. Make sure your seals are good and re-install. If the bolts are rusting put a small amount of grease on them. (Prior to re-installation of course)

How to replace back-up bulb on 2000 buick century (custom)

As far as i know, the reverse lights are built into the trunk lid If so, open the trunk, and unscrew all the nuts from inside the trunk lid that hold the rear light assembly in place. Once undone the light assembly should pop offf from the outside of the trunk lid, then you can access the bulbs, and get a new one at the auto oarts store

Replace license plate light bulb 2002 buick century

you have to remove 8 screws on the back of the panel. The entire back where the lights are is one piece attached to the trunk lid, so you will be working over head. Remove the eights screws and pull the whole piece off. easy to do but takes a few. All back lights are accessable from there. If you need new bulbs or anything click here: Aliexpress Homepage and you can find anything for cheapest prices.
I hope this helped

Replace license plate blub in 2002 buick lasabre

your going to remove the entire trunk lid assembly from the vehicle. If you open the trunk and look from the inside you should either see black plastic wing nuts or 10mm nuts holding the assembly to the trunk. There will be approximately 10 of them that will need to be removed. Once they are removed the lens assembly will pop away from the trunk lid. The license bulbs can then be replaced. I usually replace all six taillight/license bulbs whenever I have one of these apart. Its the same bulb for all six lights.

How do I replace license light bulbs in my 1995

I have a 2002 which is a little different body style but it may be the same process. You have to take the back plastic section that holds the license plate loose from the car. There are bolts that are inside the trunk that hold the plastic panel on. Mine are in the trunk lid. If your plastic panel, license plate, etc. goes up with the trunk lid they are in the lid. You need deep type sockets to reach the nuts, at least mine does.
