There may be a leak somewhere after the air filter box letting in unfiltered air. or maybe it just isnt dirty. how long has it been since it was replaced?
1) Spark plug condition 2) Spark plug lead condition (replace if around 4-5 years old) 3) Condition of coil(s) 4) Condition of air filter. 5) Condition of fuel filter. 6) Gearbox oil level and colour (anything brownish in colour should be replaced)
do you mean the cabin filter? If you do, then the filter is located under the glove compartment or on the passenger side under the hood under a plastic shroud.
u shoukd replace your air filter every 10.000 mls and the air condition sitem also has a air filter, that needs to be replaced every year hope this help
That depends on your driving conditions wheather you drive on dirt or gravel roads, however in your owners manuel it will tell you about how long before air filter needs to be changed. There is a rule or thumb how you may check. Take your air filter out and put up to the sun you should be able to see light through the filter if not replace.
The air conditioning filter that your manual speaks of is known as a ''cabin filter'', it is much differant then your engine air filter. It filters the incoming air into your vehicles interior. So if someone has told you to replace your ''air filter'' they are more then likely speaking of your ''engine'' air fitler. You should check your engine air filter every oil change. If it shows signs of dirt, then replace it. Hope this helps =)
For oil and filter - every 3 -5,000 miles. rotate tires at same interval. air filter is on condition, so check it at oil change and clean it until it needs replacement. trans. fluid is on condition along with filter or I believe 60k miles. Belts and hoses are every 3 years or based on condition. Get a maintenance guide from an auto parts store or go to the dealer for an owner's manual, which will have all of this information.
