SOURCE: tickin 2000 chev tracker

if its a ticking when you start from cold and goes away soon after start as the engine warms up it is most likely a crack in your exhaust manifold ( you may call it a header in the us) as it is getting the hot exhaust straight from the cylinder it heats up very quickly and closes the crack stopping the ticking. you should be able to get a nechanic to run a weld along the crack easily enough depending on where it is.

SOURCE: I have a 2000 sportage. The heater fan does not

It may be the blower motor, or it may be the blower resistor. Check for power at the blower motor. If power present with system on and blower has good ground, motor bad. If no power check blower resistor in air box prior to blower motor. If power on input side but nothing coming out to blower change resistor.

Blower wheel fan

The Blower wheel fan ....where is your question.....?..Yes it can be changed without replacing motor...Very delicate ..be careful while changing it...If fan isn't running it could be a Relay,Resistor,Or faulty motor....Also faulty fan control panel....I don't recommend trying to replace the fan alone..If fan is damaged it can also cause abnormal wear to motor....replace the complete fan/motor assembly...

2000 Chev Tracker cuts off after running for a while. It does this at slow speed, like in traffic. Also, will not restart after running for a while. After about 15 minutes it will start.

I would change the fuel filter before anything else, however, a fuel filter would cause it to cut off no matter how fast you are driving.

I have a 2000 Tracker and the heat just stopped working - What could be the cause?

There are thermostates the will stick in the open postion1 this will cause you not to get heat if that is the issue. Air in the cooling system will cause this too. Or low coolant check your coolant level!

My 2007 Nissan Quest's front heater fan no longer works. I checked the fuses (in the main engine compartment) and they are fine. Where is the fan anyway? Is it located deep under the dash..can a common guy...

2000 or 2007?

It might be just the blower resister located on the heater box. 2 screws and about 4 wires, easy change.
Here's the blower in the heater box:

Heater Not Working

Do you mean the fan does not work or the fan blows but there is no heat ? If you mean the blower, check the resistor at the wiring just before you get to the blower. The resistor is a small gadget. Not to be confused with an electronic resistor. If the blower works but there is no heat, replace the thermostat.
