SOURCE: replace driver side rear light

Hi,
Most are held in from inside the vehicle with clips or very few screws.
You would need to remove any carpet trim first - and be careful of sharp edges.
the "press stud" type fixings can be removed easily without damage by sliding a fork or two blunt knives either side to lever them out.

SOURCE: 1997 chevrolet lumina

If your talking about the headlamp, open your hood, look right behind the headlamp and you will see either two or three black funny looking nuts (I think they call them "wing nuts") turn them off while holding on the headlamp, then pull headlamp out slowly, unplug the headlight bulb, grab the back of the headlight bulb, turn and pull it out. (Put a plastic bag, like a sandwich bag over your hand). DO NOT touch the headlight bulb with your hands or you will burn out the bulb. These are very sensitive bulbs and DO NOT like the oils from your skin. Set it down somewhere very safe so it will not roll or touch anything greasy or oily. Next, unplug the parking light, turn and pull out. Replacement is reversal. Hope this helped!

Having trouble with a 2010 tiguan . low beam right waring came on as well as rear left signal. I changed the front low beam warning still there and light doesn't wok. What is my next step?

Check grounding on the fixture. Usually the fixture only gets the 12v+ from switch. The 12v- comes from the fixtures mounting or it has a black wire that comes off of fixture and goes to ground.

My right headlight (low beam) is out. How do I change the bulb?

Open hood, on left side of vehicle behind the light fixture look for white nylon clips that just lift
Pull up about 1.5" and they come free from the fixture. At this point the entire light assembly can be moved forward. Disconnect the wiring harness and the whole fixture comes out allowing you access to all the bulbs.
Reverse process to reassemble

How do I replace my license plate bulbs?

Simple fix. From the exterior of the car locate the two lights. Each light fixture has a tab on one side. just push the tab toward the middle of the fixture. The side with the tab will come out but the other side will remain in place until the entire fixture pops out. By this I mean it doesn't pull straight out. You may have to wiggle it a little but don't force it out. After the fixture is out just twist the bulb out (I think a quarter turn) and put the new one in. To put the fixture back in you need to set the side without the tab first and gingerly push the side with the tab back in until you hear the click that lets you know its locked in. Now you're done! When you go to change your bulb you'll see how easy it is so I apologise for the long winded description. (:

Suggest changing the clip fastener, or failing that, find some adaptation.

PT Cruiser Brake Light

The bulb in the rear light has burned out and to replace it follow these instructions: 1) go to your owner's manual to find out the part number. You can find and purchase the replacement bulb at Target, any auto parts store and even at Walmart for under $4.00; 2) pop open the trunk door; 3) get a phillips screw driver and unscrew the 2 screws holding the rear brake light fixture to your car body; 4) as soon as you turn over the fixture you'll see where to pull out the burned out bulb and replace it with the new one(s). Good luck!
