SOURCE: driver window will roll down but the passenger and rear wont

The first thing that I would do is check for electricty at the motors them sel and work your way back.If there is elec. at the window motor it's self susspect a motor problem.Remove the motor to see if it spins (but it dosen't me its good it could be week)next check for binding in the window mecanism.

SOURCE: 99 park avenue blows cold

As snowbird said, it's most likely your passenger climate control system. Could be a short in a wire or a burnt acuator that moves the passenger door open and close. If you don't have the money or time to troubleshoot the problem you can pull down the glovebox and you'll see a metal rod about 8 inches long connected to the acuator. If you pop it off by the white connector, you can move it to full hot or cold. If it was the heater core it wouldn't matter where the air is comming out, it'd be the same temp.

It'll take you 5 minutes tops to simply check it by moving that door.

Good Luck

SOURCE: 1998 buick park avenue drivers side blows cold, passenger side hot

sounds like the drivers temp door actuator is not working should be located on the drivers side of the air box down by the gas pedal or center dash area.

SOURCE: need to remove and replace the driver side door panel

Could be a bad switch, bad window motor, or clutch in window motor, ccould also be that the window itself jumped track.

Honda element no power to either window

Since you have power, once in a while, the fuse must be good. Sounds more like a faulty ground connection. Check all body ground connections on the doors and under dash. Therein lies your problem. When something electrical goes south on me, I ALWAYS check grounds FIRST. That's normally always the answer.

See your manual and locate your fusebox. Ensure you don't have any blown fuse. Due to the change of weather, wet, snow may build moisture into the system.

Would have to experience window problem myself, but sounds like you may need a new power window motor and/or window sash "peanut". (must remove door to fix this problem) 45 min. job for exp. tech. Good luck, best regards.

Passenger side power window go up or down from either side. I am not sure of fuse loacation

one fuse controls all of your windows, so if any of them work the fuse is good(actually its a breaker). but put your ear to the door and listen while trying to roll window up or down. if you hear crunching sounds then you need to replace your window regulator and if you hear nothing its probably your windows motor sticking. replacing the window motor requires removal of the door panel and depending on the trim level of your vehicle this can be pretty tricky. so you may want to consult a local technician.

Window falls forward

the window guide behind the door panel is worn out. it may be due to age. there's no problem as long as it rolls up/down and seals the passengers from rain, etc.

Sounds like a track problem. It happens sporadically because the track will occasionally align itself when the window is closed, allowing you to open the window normally but will work itself away fromthe door after you open it. You probably hear a strange noise when closing the window. The track needs repair. This will require opening the door panel to secure the track or replace it altogether.
