Google, make model and serial, you might get lucky on gun collector sites.

If you go to the colt website and enter the serial number it will give you the gun's history.

As near as I can determine the 1st number of the serial number is the last digit of the year zit was manufactured 2 -1942 3 - 1943 etc. Which would make your guns manufacture date 1945.
This is a best guess. 1945 was the end of W.W. I I and a lot of records were lost or destroyed making it difficult, at best, to deter mine manufacture date.

Seems these guns are kind of a convoluted mess with the way they were produced in two different factories with overlapping serial numbers, and factory markings. Here's a link to a good forum on the guns and the process by which they were marked
