Why wont my 1999 ford f-250 truck start after the guages stopped working

I as driving and my gauges stopped working. After I turned it off it would not start. It gets spark and gas.

SOURCE: 2000 F 250 WILL NOT START CRANKS OVER ONLY.

you should have the pcm scanned for dtc's... probably a bad crank or cam sensor

U are going to have to replace the fuel pump, the pump is located in the fuel tank.

the instrument cluster needs repair, the steppers on the motor need upgrade nothing else or buy a new instrument cluster

Check fuses 1 and 13. Look at the rear for wires where the insulation has been worn through.

My cutlass 86 v8 has the stock rpm gauge reading at 250 when idling. When the car drives at 25mph the gauge is almost nearing 600 also the car whenthe ignition key is switch the gauge goes to 0. Car runs...

The guage is bad or the wiring going to it....there is no car made that will idle at 250...most idle at 700 rpm and most turn 2000 at 60 mph

Pull the connecting wire off the temperature sensor and ground it to see if the guage goes up. If it does then your sensor unit is faulty and must be replaced!

Heat guage

This is a pretty common phenomenon. Air is moving through the radiator when the car is in motion, but not when it stops (unless the fan is on). Make sure the fan is working on the car, and don't let the gauge go much over half-way.
