I finally fixed this problem! Not sure if it will work for everyone but it did for me. My new mechanic said there is an electronic 10 pin connector hooked up to the throttle body and mine had 2-3 pins that weren't making a good connection....THAT'S IT!

check wiring harness for fuse links usually under hood in engine compartment buy fuse/relay box also check relays for corrosion on sockets

once you have replaced the brake pads and a new sensor , turn on the ignition without starting the engine for approx 45 seconds and the warning light will reset itself , regards mark
