Where is the distributor and coil pack on a 1994 Corvete

its not reading the coil pack. could be a faulty coil pack or a fault with the wires from the ecu to the coil pack. if coil pack is cracked any were on it it will need to be replaced.

Was the timing chain damaged ?
Did you have spark from the coil before you replaced the other parts ?
Do you have battery voltage on the positive side of the coil with the key on and in crank mode ?
Is the coil wire not sparking, or are you not getting spark at the plugs ?
Is the distributor rotor turning when you crank the engine ?

Your car could have a 4 cylinder or a v6. If your car is a early "94" it cold have a distributor on both engines. If it has a distributor, ether engine will only need one coil. BUT If your car has a coil pack not a distributor, it will need,, if a 4 cylinder,, 2 coils, if a v6 it will take 3 coils. .

I had the same prob found out that it was the pick up unit in the distributor and not the coil pack this part is needed so the coil pack can charge first before it is discharged on the next fire....

i think that car has no distributor, it has coil packs. coil pack, wire, spark plug. No cap.

Replace the pickup coil in the distributor,this pulsates the injectors.

look for the distributor or coil pack if its a dist. the the module is under the cap if its a coil pack it under the pack itself or next to it its plugged in with a wire plug. hope this helps you.

should have coil packs instead of distributor, check the power wires (one on each side of coil packs), if they are tight and getting power, the plate that the coil packs set on might be bad, take off and have tested at parts store.
