I have a 2003 dodge Cummins 2500 automatic when I press on the throttle to accelerate I get no response I have to let off and push it multiple times before I get throttle response back I have no check...

As diesels tend to have the gas pedal actually be the gas pedal and not the throttle, methinks the sensor for your pedal is misaligned, broken, or corroded. I'd start there.

No throttle response

What you replaced is the APP(accelerator pedal position) It is part of the electronic throttle control, what was truly needed is know as the TAC MOTOR. This recieves signal from the APP.The TAC is what accelerate the car.The only thing you can do other than replace the TAC,is do a TAC relearn .Turn thhe key off. wait ten seconds,Turn key on with the engine off.leave 1 minute. Turn key off start the vehicle you will hear the TAC motor setting itself.

Lose throttle response on 02 3500 w/ cummins

sounds to me that the accelerator pedal is bad if its an electronic pedal. youll know if its electronic or not by looking at the pedal if you see a set of wires or a wire harness plug into it then its electronic. if it is check the wires to make sure that they havent worked themselves loose if they are ok and the truck runs fine other wise then im leaning toward the pedal being bad another possibility is the injection pump it could be loosing suction because of a bad diaphram or bushing but id try the pedal first its the cheaper route.

I have a 1999 GMC Safari. Van will drive fine for

see when you say you step on it, and the vehicle stalls, it sounds as if it bein starved of fuel...you step on it, and therefore the demand is there, but not the supply. to prevent itself from over heating, the fuel pump shuts off...after a moment of cooling off, it fires right back up...get it checked at your mechanic...do the strainer on the bottom of the pump, and fuel filter as well...is it time for a tune up yet?

1999 f 250 powerstroke diesel , when i press down accelarator there is no response, truck starts and idles but no response when i step on accelarator

look behind your accel. pedal if there is a wire harness there check to make sure that it hasnt come out or is not plugged all the way in. if it is plugged in then you may need a new pedal. if it does not have a electronic pedal you may need a new ecm . if you can have someone plug it in to a diagnostic and this will tell you for sure.

MY YUKON SEEMS TO HESITATE SLIGHTLY WHEN YOUR LEAVING A STOPLIGHT AN BEGIN TO PRESS ACELORATOR

sounds like the throttle body is coked up, take the vehicle to your local mechanic and get a fuel injection flush with throttle body cleaning, replace fuel filter & you would think you got a new car again. you may find an increase in fuel economy.

Car will idle but there is no response when

This car uses "drive by wire" technology and uses a sensor to measure gas pedal movement. This sensor the transmits the info to the engine. So there is no mechanical throttle cable. You might have a bad accelator pedal sensor or it could have a loose wire. Take a look under the dash at the pedal and see if you can locate the sensor and verify it is still connected.
