Galant transmission problems

I have a 1995 galant that doesn't shift well. When I run it for about 3 minutes it shifts and drives fine, but after that it doesn't shift past 2nd or sometimes 1st gear. It shifted perfect before this started happening. No slips or jurks when I would shift out of park. What could be wrong?

I know the level of fluid is good, I didn't notice the fluid color or texture. I check that next. Thanks.

Have you checked your tranny fluid level, also does it smell burnt or really look brown or milky?

Transmission shifting problem

Don't know if you ever got this fixed, but my guess is it's a bad throttle position sensor.
